True… .. .

The day’s training went by rather fast and we started on our evening almost immediately thereafter. Three of us went for a quick dinner to only have dinner again two hours later. It was good. We went with one of our new Thai friends who ordered her favorite dishes for us- one of them being egg salad. It was tangy and very delicious. Afterward, we walked around for a bit trying to get a cab back for one of our compatriots. After failing miserably because the drive was quite a ways away, she decided to stick around with us. Then, we ran into some shops and the women said their “ooh’s and ahh’s”, contemplated a purchase, and decided “maybe next time”. By this time, the 2nd group calls us and tries to rendezvous. I think they are lost, but we don’t really know because we lose the connection to the phone call. We call back later to find out that they made it to the correct bar. Finally, we make our way to a bar nearby- the Drunken Flower. When we got there, a blues band was setting up and they turned out to be great. We got some video of that.

10pm came and we decided to head back to Uniserve and to meet up with the others at the Reggae bar- our original destination before we got sidetracked. Only two went there, while the rest headed back to the hotel for some sleep time in before having to wake up early the next morning.

We had too much fun with the camera while on the way home. Unfortunately, the connection I’m on is making uploading pictures a difficulty.
